It all started with this post on fedi:

edit: i didn't expect this post would reach this far. I don't have the means to relocate anyone 100% but I want to help, I live in Europe, I have friends around Europe. if there's anything blocking you about moving here, maybe we can unblock you together. let's just see what we can do. I'm happy to invest time and energy into this.

We kept in touch with those who were responding, hearing out their needs, finding ways to help.

A lot of people had many similar questions. At first we started collecting the answers in a document to share the answers with them.

Then more transgender people from Europe started volunteering their stories, answering questions from their personal experience, sharing resources and anecdotes.

We needed help organizing the responses:

You can help out trans people wanting to flee the USA by writing to us about your experiences living in Europe. Most of the questions we got were about access to HRT, universal healthcare, trans acceptance, cost of living, etc. The more stories we receive, the more informed decisions they can make!

Finally, we decided to get together and made this website with all the information we gathered.
